Yesterday we had a demonstration in Down Town San Diego at the intersection of Broadway and 1st Ave between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. The number of participants was between 100 to 200 people. Protertors were holding pictures of Neda and flags of Iran. Some had brought hydrogen filled green baloon, which they released into the sky after one hour of protesting. Slogans were:مرگ بر خامنه‌ای مرگ بر جهموری اسلامی آهای آهای رفتگر احمدی را ور دار ببرHey hey, Ho Ho, Ahmadi (Ahmadinejad) is got to go.Death to Khamenei, Death to Ahmadinejad, Death to the Islamic Republic of Iran.What do we want: Freedom, When do we want it: Now
At the end of the demonstration people held candles and sang group patriotic songs.
In future if you are planning to hold a demnstration in your cities please infom others with some advance notice. I was informed about this demonstration with only a few hours advance notice and I was not able to inform my network in a timely manner.There is a planned huge demonstration in Westwood, Los Angeles, tomorrow in front of the Federal Building, between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
